Back in our earliest days, T-SAR was doing some of its first work in offering safety training in Toronto Area schools. It was a shock to find the subject was almost entirely neglected and that many children thought the greatest danger awaiting them if they stuck a toe in Lake Ontario was a shark attack! Plainly, there was work to do.
In collaboration with the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) and other water and boating safety organizations, T-SAR developed two sets of Water and Boating Safety presentations tailored specifically for Grade 2 and Grade 6 students. T-SAR is a registered TDSB Educational Partner, and at your school's request one of our education volunteers will come in at your convenience and deliver an interactive, age appropriate presentation to your students at no cost to you. Please contact our Public Education Consultant for more information and to have us join your class!
